Tear Drop Butterfly, A Poem Today, in a moment of stillness I thought of you. Pining for you a tear dropped from my eye, rolled down my cheek and landed in my lap. When I looked down there was a butterfly tasting my tear. In my excitment I jumped and the butterfly flew away. So if a butterfly lands on you surely you'll know, it flew a long way to bring you my love.

Thank you for your compliment on my work "In Their Shoes". Having a child changes how you look at things, even the simplest of things. I love this work. Great illustration! The funny thing is you can see things like this in real butterflies if you just take the time to look.
